It’s a cheesy lesson, but one that we often forget. One that I’m only inclined to mention solely because it’s come to my attention several times over the past month and is applicable across the board.
I’m convinced that we are so apt to forgetting how to respect one another not only on a personal level but professional as well. In order to truly understand a concept, brand identity, client, or even employee, we must step back and observe their situation.
People will rely on someone they trust, someone that’s responsive and most of all, respects their needs, not a person who can’t see past the end of his/her own nose.
Obvious, right? You’d be surprised.
Respect someone’s vision, their opinions and their situation at the time. These are the things that make us unique and our individual contributions important.
