…I’m a young professional!
And I can more than likely speak for all of us when I say how conscious we (young pros) are of this.
So, I implore the readers of this blog, anyone I may do business with in the future, and the rest of the western world: hear me out!
On behalf of my fellow twenty-something professionals just getting a foothold in their industries, I ask for an ounce of credibility, and a little understanding that we were hired to do our jobs because we are qualified and good representatives of the company you’re doing business with.
Perhaps it’s just a rite of passage- to be pitted against other recent college graduates, grappling in order to climb another rung in an endless ladder. But, in a world where experience means everything, the big picture is critical.
Each day brings me towards greater understanding and makes me that much more of a reckonable force to this industry.
